Help from within the community

 Chico has over 5,000 children with special needs. This is a tremendously under-served population within our area. The Sunshine Kids Club is the ONLY fully-inclusive program within Butte County. We are growing due to high demand and the program and children need you to help.
The Sunshine Kids Club has an Endowment Fund at North Valley Community Foundation. Our Endowment Fund has been created to provide a permanent stream of income to support the SKC's operations - ensuring sustainability and quality programs forever.
There are many ways in which you (your family or your business) can support the growth of our Endowment Fund; making a lasting impact on our community and leaving a legacy through Sunshine Kids Club.

We have also received various requests for additional ways to donate, either financially, or through other means. Here are some other areas in which we need your support:

  • volunteer time during events
  • volunteer your talents
  • chaperone events
  • help find guest speakers
  • host a fundraising event at your home
  • volunteer at the SKC office
  • help contact parents/children

    • We have also had requests for online donations and recurring donations through monthly or bi-monthly work checks.
